Light and hardy, these bright and delicious fall fruits resemble a tomato in shape and size. They are firm and mildly sweet when they aren't fully ripe but sweeten incredibly if allowed to ripen on your kitchen counter. Add a subtle sweetness to any salad or side dish or try eating them fresh with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Fuyus only last on the trees until the first frost so we wouldn't hit snooze.
