Green Curly Kale is a bit milder in flavor than Lacinato or Dino Kale, it is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of kale. The bright-green leaves are sometimes curled so tightly it can be hard to chop them. This kind of kale tends to have a bright, peppery flavor that can become quite bitter.

Ok a huge bunch of kale for under $1.50? Sign me up! The quality was pretty good but of course it’s best to prepare the kale the same day or it’ll get sad and wilt quickly. Worth it! I was able to make a yummy salad with the kale, fennel and stone fruits ordered.

These are some of the biggest bunches of kale I’ve seen. And it arrived fresh! I will be ordering again (hopefully sizing is consistent!) :)
