Lacinato kale is the sweetest kale variety with delicate, nutty notes. When cooked, it becomes robust with an earthy flavor. Also known as dinosaur kale, Italian kale, or cavolo nero, its earthy and slightly bittersweet flavor lends itself perfectly to salads, casseroles, gratins, and smoothies. Pair it with a salty, strong cheese like Parmigiano or Manchego and sweet dried dates or cranberries.

This kale was super fresh, so it didn’t need much preparation. I washed it, stemmed it, cut it, and just sautéed it with some olive oil and seasoning, and it was delicious.
Better then grocery store
These arrived fresh and long. Not at all wilted. And then lasted for a while longer in the fridge.
