Always a good value
Good quality, easy to make
This was my first time roasting a whole duck. I cut off extra fat and rendered on stove. Rest of duck was salted, pricked and roasted 420 oven. Duck was a little tough but skin was crispy and very little fat. I made the bones into a nice duck broth using instant pot. I boiled down broth later with wine for duck glacé and put in freezer as a secret weapon for cooking. I will try it again with a slower roasting, lower temp method to see if I get more tender duck legs.
