Chef Becky combines Frog Hollow Farm's signature Warren pears with a delightful almond paste to create palm-sized tartlets that feature the flavors of fall in each bite. The rare variety of Warren pears are poached to give the tartlets a silky sweet filling encased in their flaky, buttery pastry to create the best decadent breakfast or brunch, or an extra special dessert for one.
PREHEAT INSTRUCTIONS: Pre-heat your oven to 400°, 375°if using a convection oven. For a golden brown crust, brush the dough with cream, milk, or an egg-wash. Sprinkled with sugar if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
