Dough: Unbleached Wheat Flour, Water, Potato Starch, Canola Oil, Kosher Salt, Lye Water. Contains Soy, Wheat, And Eggs. Cooking Instructions: Steamed: Bring water to a rolling boil. Line steamer with parchment paper or oil. Place dumplings on steamer and steam for 8 min. Pan-Fried: 1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan over medium-high heat, place dumplings in pan. 2. Add enough water to cover dumplings halfway up, cover and cook for 5 mins. 3. Remove cover and keep cooking till water evaporates & bottoms are brown, about 5 mins.
steam don’t pan fry!
really tasty but don’t pan fry these! i pan fry dumplings all the time with no issues, but these dumplings stuck to the pan and i could not get them off. they were much better steamed!
I pulled them from the steamer and tasted the first one en route to the fridge to figure out a dipping sauce. it was so tasty I decided they didn't need one. Lots of scallions, chives, and ginger.
