11 lb. Arrives frozen, gutted.
Branzino is a mild white fish popular in Italian & Greek cuisine and is usually roasted whole on the bone and served with lemon. Also called European bass, the fish has been showing up on menus around the country as chefs and diners enjoy branzino's sweet, flaky meat. These branzinos are sustainably farmed and thrive in the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.
With a crisp taste palette that’s filled with slight notes of sweetness, the flavor is a mellow and mild one which usually is familiarized to that of halibut fish or pacific sea bass. Although it’s usually roasted or grilled as a whole and topped with some lemon and herbs we also love it marinated in citrus juice, olive oil and vinegar and served as a meze.
