Larb is a popular minced meat salad that originated in Laos that’s traditionally made with lightly-poached ground chicken and a punchy sauce. Omson’s Thai Larb Starter, developed in collaboration with chefs Chat and Ohm Suansilphong of NYC’s Fish Cheeks, is made with a blend of Red Boat fish sauce with vibrant, floral lime and fruity chili heat that immediately awakens the palate. A noticeable hit of sweetness brings all the flavors together and the toasted rice powder that’s stirred in at the end adds a nutty depth. Pair with fresh herbs or crispy lettuce to wrap in.
