Tea leaf salad is an eclectic mix of flavors and textures that includes soft, pickled tea leaves, crisp, roasted peanuts and other crunchy beans, toasted sesame seeds, fried garlic, dried shrimp and chopped tomato. Burma Love is the contemporary younger sister to Burma Superstar. The magic behind Burma Love Foods begins in the Shan State mountains of Burma, where arguably the highest quality tea leaves originated and are still grown today. The growers pick the leaves in the “two leaves - one bud” configuration, where the flavor and punch is much more concentrated. The leaves are then fermented for a period of 2 to 6 months, resulting in a unique and earthy flavor profile.
