Located on the bluff of the Kings River in sunny central California, Blossom Bluff Orchards is an organic family farm that has been passed down from generation to generation. It all started with German immigrants Daniel and Babbette Lichti in the early 1900s, who arrived in the United States with a strong work ethic and a talent for farming. As they saved and borrowed enough to purchase the original 30-acre plot, the farm now spans 78 acres with three generations of the Loewen family currently living and working within the footprint.

The farm is not just a business, but also a home to the Loewen family who prioritize the conservation of a healthy, natural environment. Blossom Bluff Orchards serves as a diverse habitat for birds, reptiles and other critters– a safe refuge and foraging ground for bees and butterflies as well as a playground for the youngest Loewens. The farm employs sustainable practices such as solar arrays for power, an underground reservoir for irrigation, and “treatment-free” philosophy for bee stewardship. Blossom Bluff grows a delicious variety of organic California peaches, apricots, nectarines, plums, hybrids like peacotums, persimmons and pomegranates.
