Twisted Fields

Twisted Fields is an Organic research farm that is dedicated to the advancement of automation in agriculture, allowing humanity to farm sustainably, as nature intended, while still meeting the demands of modern agriculture. What sets Twisted Fields apart from other farms is their unique business model. Unlike most poultry farms, they hatch their own chicks from specialty breeds to specifically target unique egg color and good foraging genetics. This results in a flock that produces vibrant, colorful "rainbow eggs" that are larger, richer, and healthier than standard commercial eggs.

In addition to their unique egg production, Twisted Fields also has a pro-Earth and cruelty-free policy. The hens' daily routine consists of foraging for 12-14 hours a day on 70 acres before going to rest at night in one of their mobile coops on wheels. This regenerative method is commonly referred to as rotational grazing and helps to restore the soil and retain carbon emissions. The mobile coops are equipped with fully automatic chicken doors powered by wind and solar energy and are monitored by cameras to ensure the safety and well-being of the hens. The farm also recently introduced Cayuga ducks, a critically endangered breed, to their flock to help restore the population while also producing unique colored eggs. Additionally, Twisted Fields utilizes a solar-powered Precision Farming Rover (PFR), Acorn, to advance modern farming practices by combatting climate change, helping to grow healthier food, and protecting farmworkers and our communities from overuse of harmful chemicals.
