Loam is a clinical herbalism practice and plant medicine store founded in 2019 by Halley Strongwater. We provide herbalist-formulated bio-regional products that cultivate wellness, health, and joy. Our goal is to provide simple and effective medicinals and skincare products that illuminate the power of plants and the human connection to the Earth. 

We take a bioregional approach to herbalism by growing as much as we can in our garden, and sourcing the rest as locally as possible. We work with other New Mexico-based herbalists and farmers as well as domestic specialty herb growers. All of our oils, except our olive oil, are sourced from the United States. We use the sun for all of our plant infusions in our salves and Loam Oil—extracting the phytochemistry with multi-week solar extractions. Every product is fragrance-free, preservative-free and made by hand in our studio in Santa Fe.
