Perfect texture

Fluffy and chewy at the same time. Recommend steaming, not boiling, and eating with a dipping sauce (I made one from tamari, fish sauce, sesame oil, ginger, scallion, and garlic).

Good Taste, Fell Apart

The instructions said to boil (not steam) the dumplings. That seemed a bad idea, but what do I know? So I boiled them for the minimum time stated. 5 of the 6 dumplings had split open while cooking, their former contents swirling in the hot water. I scooped up as much of the filling as I could and put it on the plate with the dumplings. The dumplings and filling had a good flavor, but they would have been much better if the filling had stayed inside the dumplings
